wine drinking in sonoma + napa
The San Franciscrew would have had a tough time being so close to Californian wine country without paying it a visit. So a dozen girls hopped on a bus + gave up shopping for an afternoon to drink wine, make new Russian friends, serenade strangers, picnic in a vinyard + have some pretty solid laughs.

san fran's north beach + chinatown
I found these two San Fran neighbourhoods so enchanting that they warranted separate attention. North Beach had charming homes that we planed our future lives in + cafes that put Commercial Drive to extreme shame. Chinatown was all you would expect it to be, just bigger. There was just something about it I enjoyed. Maybe it was the soft $5 pashmina I purchased. It really doesn't take much.

i left my heart in san francisco
A predictable title, yes, but I really did love San Francisco. My expectations were high for the city by the bay, so I was shocked when those expectations were met and exceeded on my first visit there for my sister's stagette. The city's charm, friendly folk + mixed demographic made me feel like I would be pretty comfortable living there. Even the chilly weather (very chilly, indeed, for late May) was somewhat comforting.
Unfortunately, my photos far from capture the magic I felt while there. I guess I'll just have to go back + make another attempt...
