cruz turns one

Cruz is a popular guy on this blog. He's been the star of not one, not two, but three posts before this one. I can't believe it's already been one year since I held this little guy in my arms for the first time. Watching him grow (along with all of the other precious little beans in my life) has been such a joy. Happy birthday little man!

glorious fall

I am not quite sure what Vancouverites did to deserve such a glorious October, but I liked it. I can’t recall an autumn that enjoyed so many sunny, sock-less days. A Trout Lake stroll was a nice way to breathe in one of October's last afternoons. Here's hoping November is this kind.

If it weren't for Brittany, I probably would have flunked out of university. OK, not exactly, but I definitely would not have done as well if I didn't have this smart cookie by my side to motivate me (and help edit my papers)! It's no surprise that Britt has gone on to do great things. After funding her entire university education through scholarships, Britt has spent the past eight years encouraging students that scholarships are possible through Unlock Your Future. Teachers, students, parents... this girl knows what she is talking about + you need her in your life.
